In Autumn 1998, Christo and Jeanne-Claude transformed 162 trees around Fondation Beyeler into a sculptural masterwork, wrapping them in 55,000 square meters of polyester fabric. It was the artists’ pièce de résistance in a long history of wrapping trees, and created an ever-changing panorama of form, texture, and color . This limited Art Edition , complete with print and swatch of the project fabric , traces the project story start to finish.

Limited Art Edition of 1,000 copies, each signed by Christo, Jeanne-Claude, and Wolfgang Volz, with an original cibachrome and a piece of the original project fabric
